About Alida

She values the important role families and carers play in children’s growth and development and enjoys helping families learn and develop new skills to support their children through co-regulation and therapeutic parenting.

Alida currently works as a Play Therapist at a local school and as a supervisor supporting therapists across South Africa and internationally.

Her strengths are encouragement and support. Being sincere and seeing the bigger picture of a situation is what comes naturally for her. Working with people and especially children has taught her to be gentle, kind and flexible.

May what I do flow from me like a river, the way it is with children…
